As President of California Odyssey I want to wish everyone a wonderful new year for 2010!. 2009 saw some of our greatest accomplishments to date and brought National recognition to both our boys and girls teams. We competed for three national championships while California Odyssey players gained state, regional and national recognition. As a result the Soccer Council and the Board of Directors are excited to announce our plans to gain entry into the Elite Clubs National League for Girls this upcoming season. The ECNL is the next step and the highest level of youth soccer for girls in this country today. We believe that we are at a place competitively where we are ready to take this next step. We can’t do this without the support of the Odyssey family and community in general. By setting the bar high we believe that we will continue to grow and build champions on and off the field for life. We believe our success in the National Development Academy and our recognition as a Nike Premier Club will help us with our application. We will be sending out more information shortly, The board is convinced this is the right thing to do and will be committed to fund raising to bring this opportunity to the valley.
