Play. Laugh. Learn.
The Odyssey Juniors Youth Academy program was designed to get the younger ages (ages 3-8) excited about the beautiful game of soccer.
In this environment, we help children learn about teamwork, social interaction and sportsmanship but also “plant the seed” that will hopefully grow their love for the game for years to come.
Our grass roots program is designed for the youngest of players who are looking for a fun and entertaining experience that teaches the most fundamental of soccer skills through creative repetition and small-side games. We have theme based exercises that will help players expand their physical, cognitive and creative learning skills. As the only local club with affiliation to the United States Soccer Development Academy, we design our academy sessions based on the age-appropriate curriculum recommended by the United States Soccer Federation.
Ideally, we want the players who age out of the Odyssey Juniors program to eventually “graduate” into the competitive side of our club.
However, California Odyssey recognizes the importance of a positive and constructive learning environment regardless of a players final destination and we want the journey to be an enjoyable one. It is our intention that the children who come through the Odyssey Juniors program learn the importance of relationships, confidence and respect through healthy competition. See you on the pitch!
