Established in 1998, the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) is a leading advocate for women’s soccer development in the United States. With over 130 teams and a national footprint, the WPSL provides a competitive platform for elite female players at the amateur level.
The WPSL offers premier development opportunities for talented female players. With a focus on nurturing young talent and providing exposure to competitive play, the league serves as a springboard for players aspiring to reach the next level in their soccer careers.
Daniel Brizard, head coach of California Odyssey’s WPSL U-21 team, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the field. Also serving as an Assistant Coach at Fresno State’s women’s soccer program, Brizard holds USSF A and GK licenses, as well as a UEFA B GK license. With coaching stints at various top-tier Div 1 and 2 programs across the country, including Louisiana, Indiana, Florida, and Missouri, Brizard is dedicated to player development and success. As the club’s Goalkeeping Director, he ensures a strong focus on technical skill and strategic play.
